“You can’t workout everyday”
(spoiler alert, you can)

This is something I normally hear from someone that does one or some of the following…
Uses social media everyday,
Watches Netflix everyday,
Plays video games everyday,
Drinks coffee everyday,
Drinks coke/fizzy drinks everyday,
Eats chocolate everyday.
(I’m sure I’m missing some more)
So you’re telling me that I can’t workout, go for a walk, do some push ups everyday?
But you can do (insert activity/or lack of activity in here) everyday???
Something that has a benefit (walking or exercise) and that will help you can’t be done EVERYDAY, but scrolling on social media can be done for hours per day?
Maybe this isn’t about the benefit of the actually thing, but it’s more about the effort/difficulty it takes to workout everyday (I don’t woorkout on Sunday, or I take a day off if I feel like I need it and it’s not just an excuse that I’m telling myself).
If it is about the effort, then lower the bar and do something else. Walking can be done everyday and I suggest you do it, the benefits to effort ratio is definitely worth it.
