What Gets You Out Of Bed In The Morning?

I got asked this a while ago and I replied with… “My alarm clock”… I know hilarious right!

This wasn’t supposed to be funny, because your alarm doesn’t get you out of bed, it may wake you up, but yours doesn’t get you out of bed, mine does though, hear me out.

When YOUR alarm clock goes off you can probably reach it from the comfort of your bed, your head doesn’t leave the pillow, then you’re awake, kinda, for a moment, with the chance of falling back asleep (I used to do that too, we’re probably not the only ones).

MY alarm clock (phone) is charging on the other side of my room, so when I answered that question with that “smart ass answer”, it wasn’t smart, it was the truth.

I have to get out of bed to turn off my alarm before it wakes the whole house, so my alarm literally gets me out of bed. This is something that I have been doing for a few years now for Two reasons…

  1. I have to get out of bed to turn it off and it wakes me up a little bit more than just reaching over to my bedside table.
  2. It stops me from spending hours looking at my social media accounts… And cat videos (why are they afraid of cucumbers!?).
  3. My workout gear is under my phone…that’s just an added bonus if you workout in the morning, it’s right there…
