The steps on your Iwatch aren’t accurate… and?

Yes, all watches that have a built-in pedometer are off by a little bit or a lot in some cases… I wonder why… well maybe it has something to do with it being on your wrist and not your foot, duh.
But in saying that, all food nutrition on packets are off by 5%, fast food 25% and restaurants 35%… but this is just a rough guess-timation, just like your watch.
Put it like this, it’s not going to say you walked 10,000 steps if in reality you only did 1000 steps, and visa versa, it’s not going to say you did 1000 steps if you actually did 10,0000 step’s
Use it as a rough guide and get an many steps as you can, 10,000 is a lot for some and not a lot for others (a friend of mine does 15,000 daily, never stops moving).
