Sweet is fat crying

I remember when I first heard this, I was in college studying to be a personal trainer (was from a classmate, not a lecture).
I was like, wow nifty little phrase.
But No, unless little phrase.
Currently I am living in Malta (originally from Dublin) and it’s 32 degrees, that’s 1 degree lower that the hottest Ireland has ever been and that was over 100 years ago.
Obviously… I’m sweating my ass off, not doing anything, like I’m just sitting down and I can feel the beads of sweat rolling down me… sexy imagine I know.
I just had to share that visual so that you can see that sweating has nothing to do with hard work or working out or even weight loss.
It’s just your body over-heating, which can be done in hot weather… I got the AC on now, don’t worry to much about me.
So sweating does not mean burning calories, but did you know that we can burn calories (not a super duper amount) from cold temperatures… yes ice baths are all the rage at the moment but that’s not where I’m going.
Sitting in an ice bath for 5-10 minutes a day probably wouldn’t be desirable for everyone, but there was a study done that working out in the cold (study was done in Canada) that runners burned more calories when they went running in very cold temperatures.
