New Years Resolutions Do Work!

(It’s your approach that doesn’t)

Studies have shown that approximately 80% of New Year’s resolutions fail, which is probably why people don't set them and they have a bad rap.

But what if I told you they actually do work, it’s your approach that is the problem.

Picture this, it’s the start of December, Christmas is getting closer and you're out seeing friends, going to Christmas parties, eating and drinking more than usual, watching movies and eating chocolate for breakfast (I know I'm not the only one).

Up until the 22nd or 23rd, you’re enjoying the festive season, which we all do, there is nothing wrong with that.

Then there is that week where you’re not sure what day it is, but you don't want to put on jeans/pants because there is a chance you may have gained a little Christmas weight.

Sound about right?

Then New Years night happens and you party like its 1999 (not 2020, nobody wants that), you wake up on the 1st on January, maybe not feeling to fresh, but hey that's ok, it’s the holidays and they are there to be enjoyed.

You finally put on jeans and they have “shrunk” a little bit, or don't feel as comfortable as they did a few weeks back.

“That's it, time to lose the Christmas
