Just be in a Calorie deficit, it’s that simple.

The phrase “calorie deficit” gets thrown around so much now that it’s kinda lost meaning.

1st of all you should probably count your calories if you want to know if you are actually in a deficit, like everything you eat in a day. Yes it seems very obsessive, but it’s just to see if you are in a deficit, how else would you know?

PS, if you suffer with eating disorders please seal help as this might not be the best option for you, but for me as someone who has a good relationship and likes the idea of something short term to get more of an understanding of it and seeing what foods have nutritional wise, it works for me now, not for the rest of my life.

As you can see I was in a calorie deficit from the image above, a whole 1 calorie, who knows how long I’d have to be in a -1 deficit to lose weight… oh wait, 1 pound 3500 calories, so yeah 3500 divided by 365 (1 calorie per day)… that would take 9.5 years.

That’s doable for most people, right?

Ok all jokes aside, how much should you actually be in a deficit?

5% 10% 15% 20% 25% 30%????

This kinda depends on there person, lets say they need 2000 calories per day (very generic I know, but it’s more for the simple maths… sshhhh)
