How I lost 12.8kg in 50 days without a gym and working a office job.

So it’s January 1st 2023 and I’m in work from 12:30–9pm, it’s not so bad, specially because I was out the night previous, but made the effort to be in bed at 10 because I knew I had work.

I had made the decision a few weeks earlier, this wasn’t a “New year new me” kinda goal where I just woke up and was like “timw to lose some of this Christmas timber”.

I had a plan, I knew what I needed to do, I just had to do it.

I looked at my work schedule and I have 2 different shifts, one is from 9–5:30 and the other 12:30–9. Then I had my 2 days off per week.

My daily goals were simple, but effective, I didn’t want to just start running and struggle, then give up.

My goals.

  1. Drink 3 liters of water
  2. 3 meal’s a day
  3. 30 minute walk
  4. 20 minutes skipping/jump rope
  5. No alcohol

Those for me were all doable, not impossible.

I drink a lot of water most days anyway, I had to make better choices with my food as I had lost my routine.

I actually really like skipping so that wasn’t so bad and walking was easy.
