Do you know how easy it is to eat 4000 calories?

I’ve been tracking my calories as you can see from the above photo, I’m trying to gain muscle so eating extra calories, I’m a male who is 6'4 and is very active hence the high number.

Would you believe me if I told you that at 10:30 the day of eating over 4,000 calories I was still looking in my kitchen for something to eat, because I was!

It’s not like I’m eating rubbish foods, I’m having oats for breakfast, with banana, protein powder, milk and 15 grams of chocolate chips, it’s almost 800 calories!

A smoothie with cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries and protein powder.

If it’s this easy for me to eat this much, it’s no wonder people are gaining weight and just wondering “How!? I’m just eating healthy foods!”

Any foods in large amounts can make you gain weight, don’t think “it’s just _____, that’s not a bad food” (whatever a bad food is), instead think, “what is a portion of this particular food and am I’m over eating on it?”.

You’re supposed to enjoy food, lets not forget this, but if your over eating and then you’re not happy that’s the issue.

So back to my point, if I wasn’t tracking my calories I would have never guessed my days intake was 4,000 calories, it’s not surprising that people…
