Change one thing… (Wrong).

Have you ever heard the phrase “change one thing” when it comes to your habits or goals?

Yeah well its BS, yeah I said it.

Changing one thing won't make much of a difference, let's be realistic.

If it's one small thing you change you won’t see the result for a long time (If you see it at all).

If you change a big thing there is a chance you won't be able to keep it going for a long enough to see the result, which is why people fail/give up.

Let me let you in on a little secret…

Don't change one thing,

Change some things,

Many small things.

If you can change a bunch of small things, that are easy to keep up over a long period of time, then you will have small results that will all add up the long run.

Now you’re only human, you might miss one or so a day, but focus on what you did do.

Just make sure you’re not missing the same goal(s) all of the time, if you are, either lower the bar on it or replace it altogether so you’re not wasting time and effort on it.

Pick 5 small goals that you can do daily, aim to get 4/5, somedays you’ll get 5/5, somedays 3/5, but as an average for the week/month aim for 80%.

This is doable for everyone, no one is perfect and if you are getting 100% of your goals done all of the time, maybe its time to increase them because they might be to easy for you.
